Twin Peaks Comeback Reunion at Thalia Hall Celebrating ‘Down in Heaven’ 10 year Anniversary

Chicago local legends, Twin Peaks, have announced their reunion in celebration of ‘Down in Heaven’ 10th year anniversary. The band has been on hiatus since late 2020, and their announcement back in November 2025 sparked excitement among fans. The band was originally set to perform on May 14 and 15, but both dates sold out within minutes, leading the band to expand their celebration into a full eight-night residency at Thalia Hall.

The band formed in 2010, grew their fanbase through performances within Chicago’s local DIY scene. As teenagers, they showcased an explosive energy rooted from the gritty indie and garage rock sounds of the Midwest and has contributed the growth of indie music over the years. The band gained major recognition during their performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in 2014, which marked their breakout from the local DIY shows to headlining festivals across the world. Through studio albums, live albums, complications and EP’s, the band earned admiration from their catalog among the music realm. After a decade long hiatus, the band is now embarking a highly anticipated comeback generating excitement not only the band itself but also among fans eager to see them under the stage lights once again.

Twin Peaks’ grand return has sparked excitement for the band’s return to the stage, as they have share past performance clips and photographs on Instagram, offering a sense of gratitude and reflection on how far they have come since 2010. The supporting lineup features a blend of Chicago local bands that includes NE-HI, Lifeguard, Pool Holograph, Neptune’s Core, Free Range, V.V Lightbody and Post Animal alongside with performances from Canadian actor and musician Finn Wolfhard and comedian Carmen Christopher.

It has already been confirmed that the band’s eight night residency is officially sold out. However, the band has announced on May 6 that select performances will be livestreamed on May 18 and 19. Tickets are available for purchase via their official website, offering fans who were unable to secure an entry at Thalia Hall a chance to watch the performances live from their homes.

Beyond the residency, Twin Peaks are just getting started and have also announced on March 16 their debut of this year Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena, CA, on August 22, 2026.
