“Momentz” from Chicago-based duo Mother Nature is an immensely impressive cut, quite possibly my favorite release of 2021 thus far.
“Momentz” features Klevah Knox and T.R.U.T.H implicitly proclaiming 2021 as their breakout year. The duo offers music that consistently features a seamless blend of their contrasting MC styles. “Momentz” is a showcase of this duality of talent over BoatHouse’s immaculate production; a swelling synthesizer is layered with glassy keys and thick boom-bap drums. Between the vocals, production, and mix/master, this is a highly refined offering.
