Mavi’s 2019 full-length effort, Let The Sun Talk, introduced me to the young MC and I’ve been following his progression ever since. After a relatively quiet 2020, Mavi has returned in 2021 with a spectacular new offering, End of the Earth – EP.
This compilation offers listeners a wide variety of tracks in only 15 minutes. Sincere emotion pours out of Mavi’s intricate poetry. His ability to produce energy over open production is a skill he showcases on both the intro track, “Time Travel”, as well as the outro, “Town Crier”. Mavi’s ever-changing cadence is sure to keep listeners on their toes throughout the extent of this compilation.
End of the Earth – EP is truly worth listening to several times.
