Ever since Mother Nature popped onto the Chicago scene, we’ve kept a close eye on their art as it seems to get better and better with each release. This trend has continued with the release of “Crystal Cadillac”, an addictively-smooth guitar-based cut that features both Kelsey Gonzáles and José Rios of the Free Nationals.
I’m simply addicted to this song. The hook is too catchy and the energy of the track is sky-high throughout its 3+ minute playtime. Mother Nature’s vocal creativity effortlessly pairs with the Free Nationals’ swaggy production to create a feel-good track to enjoy time and time again. Do yourself and check this one out.

“We met THE Free Nationals early 2020 before the world changed. Not only did we open for their sold out show in Chicago, but they invited us on stage for an encore freestyle. We were satisfied with that.
But the next day, they invited us to jam before they left the city & we ended up making this groovy ass record with @josemrios & @lordkelstro! We literally felt like we bonded all night and became sudden besties, but that’s besides the point. We were satisfied yet again, and kinda just left it at that. But no, God said y’all bigger than that! Zay jus kept encouraging us to finish the record top to bottom & put it out in the most official way. In 2021, we hopped on a flight in & took a trip to LA to shoot an epic video with @renz.uno & @israelshoots. Then, collaborated on cover art with @deweysaunders + our forever fav @niccibriannphotography.
Words can’t even express the joy & the alignment of being seen by those you look up to. Like fr, we been jamming these guys since Anderson .Paak’s Malibu & they’ve inspired so much without even knowing it. Thank you Gang. Thank you God. Thank you Team.
