Chicago’s-own, Chance the Rapper, has returned with an immaculate cut entitled “The Heart & The Tongue”. This new single has been exclusively released on YouTube and Chance offered his reasoning for the exclusivity on Twitter this morning.
For now I think it’ll just stay on YouTube. I really made the song out of necessity because I wanted to shoot a music video. I didn’t expect people to react to the music so well, which is amazing! This melancholic track showcases Chance’s inimitable persona on top of production that features very few bells and whistles. The production’s simplicity offers Chance the spotlight and he seized the opportunity with ease.
