When news broke that they working together, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s new project as Silk Sonic deservedly stirred up quite some hype. Today, they pair are sharing their first song as well as its music video.
The track is called “Leave the Door Open,” and it’s a smooth-burning ballad plucked right out of 1970s radio that will get you dancing slowly and snapping your fingers the whole way through.
The song will appear on forthcoming collab album, An Evening With Silk Sonic. The single has also delivered an intro track from the album’s “special guest host” and the reason why Mars & .Paak have been dubbed Silk Sonic, Bootsy Collins.
