POD Photos: Florence + The Machine at the United Center (10/19)

Florence + The Machine’s High As Hope Tour rolled through Chicago on Friday and we were part of the lucky folk that got to witness this performance. Right off the bat, the wooden stage design felt incredibly inviting and it gave off a vibe like we were in a live theater. Florence Welch made use of the entire stage to do everything from delivering emotive vocals to running from side to side with impressive footwork and dancing passionately.

The layered stage also had some pretty low spots, which could really be appreciated once Florence walked down a few steps to get up and personal with her fans lining up the front rails and performing with the crowd. It was a brilliant, energetic, & powerfully-charged set. Check them out live, I guarantee you’ll dig it.
