Florence and the Machine Announce New Album ‘High as Hope’ & Share New Song “Hunger”

Florence and the Machine are finally making their highly anticipated return and today they’re making it official with the announcement of their new album High as Hope.

Speaking in a press release, Florence said:

“This song is about the ways we look for love in things that are perhaps not love, and how attempts to feel less alone can sometimes isolate us more… I guess I made myself more vulnerable in this song to encourage connection, because perhaps a lot more of us feel this way than we are able to admit. Sometimes when you can’t say it, you can sing it.”

Accompanying that news is the release of lead single “Hunger” + its music video, directed by A.G. Rojas. Check that out, along with more details of the forthcoming album, below.
