Florence and the Machine have shared their contribution to the new Tim Burton movie, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
The song is titled “Wish That You Were Here,” and it’s a great Florence track overall without sounding like a forced effort. The slow build-up to the big chorus is classic FTM, while the lyrics in the hook are super emotive that it will definitely make you really empathize as Welch sings the line “even closer to you, you seem so very far.”
