Chicago singer and emcee Senite has released a powerful, gorgeous and genre bending track titled “Chaotic.”
Senite’s latest solo offering has been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. With “Chaotic,” Senite effortlessly creates a fusion of alternative R&B and hip-hop, drawing comparison to the genre’s greatest artists while infusing her own unique style.
“Chaotic” delves into themes of spiritual and physical liberation, capturing Senite’s personal experiences within the environment of the city.
Accompanying her vocals is the stripped back and dreamy production crafted by the talented producer and artist Sebastian Kamae. Their collaborative effort creates a sonic landscape that perfectly complements Senite’s vocal range and artistry.
It’s wild that this is their first collaborative effort, as they managed to create the beat and verse within the first hour of collaboration, and the entire song was recorded within the second hour.
This summer, Senite is keeping a packed schedule with an exciting lineup of live performances. Last night she performed at Schubas, on June 9th she will grace the stage at Subterranean, and she will perform two more times at Schubas on June 22nd and July 27th.
