Shakira and Ozuna Share New Song/Music Video, “Monotonía”

Shakira and Ozuna have combined forces for a new song entitled “Monotonía.” While the track is set up to feel like some fictional storyline between 2 professional artists portraying out-of-love partners, its lyrics, timing, and music video sure look like they drew inspiration from the news of Shakira and Gerard Piqué’s divorce.

The Colombian artist is seen in her best post-breakup outfit dragging her feet and eating right of the chip bag at a supermarket until Ozuna (literally) blasts her heart out of her body with a bazooka (dope). The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer then casually walks away with her heart until she gets to put it in a deposit heart and puts away the key. The visual was filmed in Manresa, Spain and co-directed by Shakira and Jaume de la Iguana.

This one’s cool because it’s a Bachata and Shakira’s vocals almost mimic Drill rappers at times, so you really get feel all the feels in this track.
