Phoenix have officially made their return today with the release of their new track “Alpha Zulu.” The French band’s follow-up to their 2020 song “Identical” came to life thanks to a phrase frontman Thomas Mars heard a pilot repeat during a flight affected by a storm.
We haven’t gotten a new album from the band since 2017’s Ti Amo, and their last release came in 2018 with their demos project using material from that previous year’s LP, Ti Amo Diaries.
