BKTHERULA and Lil Tecca Rock the House of Blues (4/18)

The Tecca Loves You Tour hit Chicago last night, bringing a roster of young artists making a name for themselves in the Rap world to downtown’s House of Blues.

Kicking things off was YVNGXCHRIS, whose set was full of energy that had the crowd jumping up and down throughout his run. At one point he jumped into the crowd and the audience caught him, one of the best signs of embrace at a place like this. Next up was POD favorite Bktherula. Fans went for her song “Santanny,” which goes down as this crowd’s favorite much like it hit with those that saw her at last summer’s Summer Smash. We were also treated to a performance of an unreleased song featuring Rico Nasty that’s supposed to drop on 4/20. You know an artist is loved when you see everyone wanting to hand her their phones. Our sub-headliner for the evening was BABYSANTANA, who played a short but effective set that with an aim to hype up the crowd.

Finally, it was time for man that brought the crowd out. Lil Tecca had the ground literally shaking throughout the night. He had a great performance singing songs back to back and it looked effortless, and the light visuals and fog machine went crazy during his set. He ended with his most popular song, “Ransom” and the crowd went wild. Tecca Loves You, indeed.
