All of the sudden, festival season is right around the corner! As we quickly approach summer, music festivals around the world are beginning to unveil their star-studded lineups. Hip-hop lovers in Chicago looking for a rap-based festival can look forward to this summer’s Summer Smash.
Many of today’s biggest names are going to be coming through to Chicago’s Douglass Park at the end of August this year. A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, and Lil Uzi Vert are each headlining their respective day of the weekend. Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX clearly made a point to showcase hometown talent as Femdot, Supa Bwe, CP, Joey Purp, Qari, Komla, Lucki, Warhol.ss, and other Chicago-based creatives are all set to perform throughout the weekend.
Although the Summer Smash has only been around for a few years, SPKRBX and LL have put together immaculate lineups each and every year.
