Father John Misty has re-emerged to release his new EP, Anthem +3. The project packages together four tracks, and it gets its name by kickstarting with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Anthem.”
The other three tracks are covers of Link Wray’s “Fallin’ Rain,” Yusuf/Cat Stevens’ “Trouble,” and Leonard Cohen’s “One Of Us Can’t Be Wrong.” Check it out below.
Anthem +3 will be available on FJM’s Bandcamp, and it’s being made available as part of the site’s latest fee-free sales day for artists. Proceeds from the EP will benefit CARE Action and Ground Game LA. The EP will then be released on July 14 via Sub Pop/Bella Union.
