Hayley Williams is currently ramping up towards the release of her debut solo album, and that promotion run took her to the studios of BBC Radio 1 where she delivered a couple of live performances.
For the covers segment on the Live Lounge, the Paramore singer gifted fans her rendition of Dua Lipa’s dance hit “Don’t Start Now.” The smooth take on this dance number helped showcase the Williams’ pipes once more as yet another reason to love her, and this Pop-R&B reimagining of the track can also be something Dua’s fans would appreciate. Yo, 2021 Grammys (or any other upcoming awards shows), bring this to a live stage ASAP!
Williams also performed the lead single off PETALS FOR ARMOR, “Simmer,” which you can watch below.
The new album will arrive May 8 via Atlantic.
