Fellow Paramore fans… There’s good news and there’s bad news: the bad news is that it looks like a new album from the band is still a while away from being a reality; the good news is that we can still hear new music with Hayley Williams vocals.
Paramore leader Hayley Williams has announced her debut solo album PETALS FOR ARMOR and delivered with that the lead single. The new track is entitled “Simmer” and it is now available for streaming along with its music video directed by the incomparable Warren Fu. Make sure to get your hands (or streaming clicks) on the album when it arrives May 8 via Atlantic.
It’s missing the Pop sensitivity that got me hooked on the last Paramore album, but this direction is sounding interesting. Williams is an incredible songwriter and I’m intrigued to find out what this solo venture produced.
