The Strokes Announce 2020 North America Shows

The Strokes are back, and in a big way, baby! My favorite band announced a “global comeback” around this time for 2019 and though the dates were limited, the iconic Rockers sure made them memorable with the May debut of the first new song in 3 years and capped with a special New Years Eve show in Brooklyn that not only saw another new song get a live debut but that performance also delivered the news that a new album was soon to come!

For 2020 we’ve already learned that Julian Casablancas, Albert Hammond Jr, Nick Valensi, Nikolai Fraiture, and Fab Moretti are playing festivals both in the U.S. and across Europe, but now they’re also announcing individual shows in North America. The Strokes will be playing Vancouver, Seattle, and Los Angeles this coming March. The Pacific Northwest dates and LA will all feature Alvvays as guests, while King Princess will also be performing at the show at The Forum.

While I am still riding high thanks to finally being able to see them in Chicago again last year at Lolla after more than a decade, I’m still hoping there’s something planned for The Strokes in the Chi that doesn’t revolve around a music fest (though I’d go regardless).

Details below.

The general on-sale will start on FridayJanuary 31 at 10am for the Los Angeles show and 12pm for the Vancouver and Seattle shows. Visit thestrokes.com for tickets and tour information.
