Kamasi Washington has returned with a pair of new songs, which will appear on a forthcoming new album. Washington announced his new project is entitled Heaven & Earth and it will be out June 22 via Young Turks.
The new tracks are called “Fists of Fury,” from the Earth half of the record, and “The Space Travelers Lullaby” will appear on the Heaven side.
Washington tweeted about the album: “The Earth side represents the world as I see it outwardly, the world that I am a part of. The Heaven side represents the world as I see it inwardly, the world that is a part of me.”
