posted by Oscar August 17, 2017

Joseph Chilliams has combined forces with fellow Chi dope stars Noname and Supa Bwe on new track “Kale,” his latest cut from forthcoming project Henry Church.

Chilliams sets the tone with a hook and bars, while his guest stars help him complete the dope song. Noname drops wisdom on her verse and Supa (Supaaaaa!) impacts the beat with full force when it’s his turn on the mic.

POD Photos: SXSW 2017 – Day 3 feat. French Montana, Cam’ron, Noname, Warm Brew

posted by Oscar March 22, 2017

Day 3 of SXSW 2017 was packed with dope showcases throughout downtown Austin, which helped give us that much more to choose from regarding the artists we’d want to see for the night… but that also made it so much more difficult to decide on an action plan because the lineups were insane pretty much everywhere, so having to choose the right showcase carried so much more weight.

But that’s when it helps to have a squad in ATX, so while I went over to the House Of Vans/Fake Shore Drive showcase at the Mohawk that boasted a stacked lineup of some of Chicago’s best talent plus French Montana headlining, Alex and Alberto (AKA ) made their way to Easy Tiger for TuneIn’s that featured none other than Dipset’s own, Cam’ron!

Take a look at the highlights of Day 3 of SXSW below. Continue Reading

Saba - Comfort Zone

Saba has long been a favorite of us here at Pursuit Of Dopeness so it’s easy to see why we’d be excited to post his latest project, the album, Comfort Zone. The Pivot Gang rep has long been one of the best and most promising young talents coming out of Chicago these last few years and his new album is set to broaden his reach to even greater lengths.

Comfort Zone includes features from other rising Chicago talents like Eryn Allen Kane, MC Tree and LEGIT with production work from Ken Ross (NAiMA) and Justin Jackson, among others; Saba himself producing or co-producing the great majority of the album.
