The Black Keys Announce Comeback Album ‘”Let’s Rock”‘ & Share New Song “Eagle Birds”

If you’re a fan of The Black Keys, today brings good news as the duo of Patrick Carney & Dan Auerbach have officially announced their new album “Let’s Rock.” The band’s ninth studio release will come out June 28 via Easy Eye Sound/Nonesuch Records.

Not only that, but they’ve also delivered a new track entitled “Eagle Birds.” Unlike “Lo/Hi,” their latest cut from the forthcoming comeback album has a vibe that’s more so aligned with their earlier work. It’s a guitar song through and through, stripping down the arena-ready licks they’d become known for the last few albums for a dirtier sound that brings to mind countrified southern blues.

I’m digging the pace of this one and will get your feet stomping in no time. Stream it, and find new album details, below.

The band will be releasing special limited edition vinyl copies, so get on that immediately.
