Day 1 of Lollapalooza 2026 is officially in the books, and with it came our first taste of what this year’s festival has to offer. You know I love me some Lolla, and my 15th time checking out Chicago’s biggest music festival delivered more unforgettable performances to add to my list of favorites, of which Viagra Boys and Little Simz already feel like they’ll make my The Top 12 list this year.
From the POD editor perspective, I want to shout out Sombr for opening his entire set for photographers to cover. I caught the last 10-15 minutes, and it was great getting to capture those moments with the crowd behind me as excited and energetic as it could be while experiencing this part of the set.
