Chicago Based Umraan Syed ‘Z E N I T H’ Visual Album Breaks Through The Importance Of Storytelling

Chicago based Hip-Hop artist, Umraan Syed, Z E N I T H is not only his third album but his first fully visual album has gained major attention from it’s storytelling element. The main component portrays an emotional flow state mind that embodies the album core and allows viewers to dive deeper into the meaning behind humanity. ‘Z E N I T H visual album first premiered back on September 27, 2025 at the CineCity Studios in Chicago. This visual album cultivated about three years in the making with about 20-30 people in the production and collaboration across multiple cinematographers. The visual album launched on streaming services on February 17, 2026 explores the importance between music and cinematography showcases viewers to take a step back and dive into the meaning behind each of the songs presented in the album. The album initially debuted in August 22, 2024, but visual album itself showcases the storyline of the main protagonist, the Spaceman. This character embodies the reality of the unknown hardships of life. The scenes showcases across each song transitions into the universal struggle of identity, transformation and self awareness.
