
Karol G recently hit a milestone by becoming the first Latina performer to headline Coachella. During her weekend 2 performance on April 19th, she closed her set with her hit song, “Provenza” delivering a high-energy performance that had fans dancing. Her presence on stage showcased not only her artistic visuals, but also her pride to celebrating Latino empowerment and community on one of the world’s biggest festivals. It was a powerful and unforgettable moment that highlighted the significance of her achievement.
As Karol G expressed gratitude to her family and fans, she surprised the audience with an exciting announcement on the festival screens lit up with a message she shouted with excitement, “We’re going on tour!” The massive world tour will support her latest album, ‘Tropicoqueta’ which was released last year. The tour, ‘Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour’ will include over 39 shows across North America, Latin America and Europe.
The tour will kick off in Chicago at Soldier Field on July 24, 2026 followed by 17 additional tour cities across North America.
