Alabama Shakes are back, baby! The band chose our hometown of Chicago to kick off their return to the live stage, playing two shows at The Salt Shed.
I overheard two separate individuals speaking about having been there for both shows, and if they are to be believed, it was present for the better night. It was a beautiful summertime Chi night, and it was better for those in attendance that night. The band came out and went straight to business, playing a setlist that would inspire anyone in attendance to appreciate the end of this hiatus.
