Fresh Video: CEO Trayle – “Toe 2 Toe”

Man! I’m so glad I discovered CEO Trayle in 2022. Trayle has only been featured on PoD a few times before, but this new single he premiered a week ago deserves all the love we can offer. The Bronx-born spitta has an immaculate discography fit with various vibes that always motivate listeners to be the biggest boss they can be. It seemed that C4 never left the studio in 2023 as he dropped an unmatched amount of music and videos to satisfy his loyal fanbase, and he’s back in 2024 dropping with full force.

On February 2nd, Trayle offered his followers a sneak peek at “Toe 2 Toe” and its music video on his Instagram which prompted a unanimously positive response in the comment section… I couldn’t wait to hear the full-length version of this track and I’m relieved that it’s officially out. The single hasn’t hit DSPs just yet, but Trayle has three other singles that he’s released since the top of the year to keep your Apple Music/Spotify/etc. loaded up and ready to go.

“Toe 2 Toe” perfectly meets, or possibly exceeds, C4’s high-quality standards as uptempo, bouncy, Curren$y-esq production from Trama Tone paves the way for Trayle’s smooth-as-butter voice to command this sub-three-minute single. His consistency behind the mic never gets boring as his production choices are simply A1; his beats don’t sound like type-beats, they sound like they’re perfectly tailored to allow Trayle to vocally jump in and out of the dopest pockets.

The glitchy run-and-gun visuals are a perfect pair for this track’s sonics… shoutout Decat and Baylor Kim for spazzing on these low-budget (I say that as a compliment) visuals. These guys worked with what they had and produced a dope final product. Trayle doesn’t need the most insane sets or VFX to provide fans with a dope video, Decat’s simplistic shooting style perfectly compliments Trayle’s laid-back raps to offer a dope visual experience.

CEO is undoubtedly one of my favorite “underground” artists and I can guarantee his fanbase will exponentially grow in the next few years. Check out “Toe 2 Toe” above and cross your fingers that it hits DSPs soon.
