Fresh Cut: Valee & Harry Fraud feat. Action Bronson – “Vibrant”

Man! I never knew how bad I needed a Valee and Action Bronson track in my Apple Music library until I heard this incredibly dope effort, “Vibrant”. Superproducers Harry Fraud and Ayochillmann found their perfect match in the duo of Valee and Action Bronson; the four collaborated and dropped one of my favorite releases that this year has offered thus far.

Harry Fraud and Ayochillmann succeeded in creating ethereal production that needs no percussion to hold the energy, the perfectly-chopped sample holds the tempo true throughout the cut. I’d expect to hear this sort of production on a Westside Gunn album, but Valee and Action Bronson danced within the track’s percussion-less pockets with ease.

Valee’s effortless flow compliments this production so well, his swagged out rhymes never fail to be some of the dopest in today’s hip-hop game. Action Bronson’s rugged, braggadocious tone perfectly contrast Valee’s buttery-smooth bars as the NY wordsmith concocted some wildly dope lines on “Vibrant”.

Favorite lines – Valee – “Sweet Aromatic come and sing me a song / Double cuppin’ me, I ate an eighth, it’s gone”
Bronsolino – “Eight ball shifter on a stick, F-150 with the lift kit / Three barrels on a shotty, it’s a triscuit”

Shoutout the legend Goons for going crazy on the cover art!
