Schubas Tavern’s series of free local shows titled “100% Off Bands” brings the very talented Kayo, T Star Verse & Kiraly Payne. (21+)
It’s been just under two weeks since we reviewed Kayo’s debut record ‘It Was Fun While It Lasted.’ The project was not only met with acclaim from us at Pursuit of Dopeness, but was adored industry-wide.
As the headliner of this show, Kayo plans on performing the entirety of ‘It Was Fun While It Lasted;’ His set will be undoubtedly memorable.
Kayo will be joined by the very talented South and West Side entertainer T Star Verse. T Star Verse’s brand of rap is ever changing but is consistently fun and makes you want to move. Her newest single “Dum Dum” has been making waves and is a great example of this energy in action.
Kiraly Payne, another performer on the bill, is a seasoned artist in the Chicago music scene, having created excellent work for some time now. Being a member of the Outer(net) crew puts him alongside some of Chicago’s finest.
Sounds for this event will be provided by Chicago’s hottest DJ Preme, who brings down the house everytime. Listen to his newest Preme Nite Show mix titled DARK NITES, to get a taste.
