Rihanna Returns With “Lift Me Up”

Rihanna’s back! After a 6-year wait, Rihanna has made her highly-anticipated return thanks to new “Lift Me Up,” the lead single from the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

“Lift Me Up” has a lot of emotion embedded within its lyrics and music, which makes all the sense of the world as it was written to honor the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman. This already has me in my feels, so I can tell you right now that I’m very likely going to lose it if I hear this to pay tribute to Boseman’s character of T’Challa in the upcoming Black Panther.

The song was written by Tems, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna and the film’s own director, Ryan Coogler

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack will be released on November 4 via Roc Nation Records/Def Jam Recordings/Hollywood Records, ahead of the theatrical release of the film a week later. The soundtrack is produced by Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis and Dave Jordan.
