Brazil is always one of the top teams competing at a World Cup, so it’s natural to expect that they show up in style, and they absolutely will not disappoint in that regard thanks to the new designs by Nike.
La canarinha we all know and love has a beautiful, classic design of a yellow base with accents in blue and green that are directly inspired by the Brazilian flag, but it’s the subtle details that make this something special. If you look closely you’ll notice an embossed jaguar print that pays tribute to the large cat of the americas that is also an iconic animal found in the Amazon.
The jaguar print plays a slightly more prominent design role on the Away kit. The blue base has the spots on the sleeve, where a green base fades into the blue of the rest of the shirt for a cool effect. The colors bring to mind the vibrancy of the massive jungle that makes up so much of the South American nation.
We have adopted the jaguar as our icon, so you know we love the use of the jaguar spots on this shirt.
