The return of Lorde is finally upon us. After a 4-year absence, the New Zealand artist has formally announced her forthcoming album will be entitled Solar Power. The news also brings the eponymous lead single and its accompanying music video co-directed by Lorde and Joel Kefali.
Lorde also enlisted some extra firepower for the song itself. Jack Antonoff not only plays guitar and drums on “Solar Power,” but he also shares co-writing and co-producing credits with Lorde. Along with Antonoff, Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo provide backup vocals.
