Dominican / Mexican Ambar Lucid has signed for 300 Entertainment, and that union is also showing promising signs with today’s news. Ambar Lucid is officially announcing her next EP, which will be entitled Get Lost In The Music and will be released June 18.
That announcement also brings an anthemic new track called “Get Lost In The Music.” The production features psychedelic sounds and effects that give this pulsating Pop tune some flair and I can’t get over how brilliantly it’s executed, successfully avoiding sounding like it’s a gimmick. I dig Lucid’s vocals throughout the track, especially when she whispers the titular words with the organ on top right before belting out the chorus. Easily one of my favorite tracks I’ve heard all month.
