Weezer have released a new song called “I Need Some of That,” which helps preview their forthcoming project paying homage to Metal music, Van Weezer. The album (its cover art shown above) is scheduled to be released on May 7 via Crush Music/Atlantic Records.
The band has been teasing the project for a couple of years now, including a sneak peek of Van Weezer song “Blue Dream” in an episode of The Simpsons last year.
Van Weezer is the group’s fifteenth studio album and it’s produced by Suzy Shinn. Check out the new lyric video for Weezer’s “I Need Some of That” below.
