Death Cab For Cutie took advantage of their role as musical guests on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to cover TLC’s classic song, “Waterfalls.”
Ben Gibbard and the rest of the band filmed themselves performing their parts from their separate homes. Watch the live recording in the video above.
The band covering the 1994 tune wasn’t a random choice. Their rendition of the track is the opening number of their covers project, The Georgia EP. The EP is comprised of 5 covers of songs by artists from Georgia, and the proceeds went to Stacey Abrams’ voter’s rights organization Fair Fight Action.
