Album Stream: Paul McCartney Shares ‘McCartney III’

Paul McCartney’s latest solo album has arrived. McCartney III has been released today in its full streaming, CD, and rainbow of vinyl glory as of today December 18, 2020 via Capitol Records.

The former Beatle’s follow-up to his 2018 album Egypt Station, the new album is the new addition to his eponymous series which started in the 1970’s with McCartney and continued in the 1980’s with McCartney II. Recorded earlier this year during “Rockdown” in Sussex, McCartney III is mostly built from live takes of Paul on vocals and guitar or piano, overdubbing his bass and the other parts.

Just before the record dropped, Paul McCartney shared the Roman Coppola-directed music video for “Find My Way,” which provides a look into the process that was used to create the new album.
