Clairo quickly became one of my favorite Indie artists of the last few years, but this move just made me appreciate her that much more. The singer-songwriter has shared her cover of The Strokes cult fave, “I’ll Try Anything Once.”
For her take on the demo for the track that went on to become “You Only Live Once,” Clairo collaborated with Jake Passmore of SCORS. The guitar-only rendition is a bit unpolished but it’s not without its charm, and this Strokes stan sure does approve.
