Chicago’s own Mfn Melo is finally back releasing solo music after a bit of time away. Melo has been one of Chicago’s best underground rappers; fantastic, full-length offerings such as Melodramatics and Everybody Eats have ensured consistency and have most definitely kept Melo on our radar.
“Portions” is a three-song offering that includes “Nevertheless” feat. Radamiz, “Mario Kart” feat. theMIND, and “Paid Dues”. Each track has its own unique vibe but Melo and friends absolutely do justice on each production.
Look out for Mfn Melo, it sounds like he’s only going to get better from here.
