Arsenal Unveil 2020-21 Home Kit

One thing I can honestly admit about Arsenal is that their home kits have always been one of the most beautifully designed. The London club have revealed their new home kit for the forthcoming 2020-21 season, and I can safely say that it follows that stylish tradition.

This year’s design pays a nod to the club’s “Art Deco” period in the 1930/40s. The main inspiration is Arsenal’s geometric crest used from 1936 – 1949, using its “A” for the chevron graphic. As the news release notes, the shirt also represents the layout of the tiling on the floors of the East Stand’s famous marble halls – the historical home of Arsenal before its 2006 move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners will sport their new home jersey for the first time on the pitch on July 26 against Watford, followed by the FA Cup Final at Wembley on August 1 as they aim to win their 14th FA Cup. The kit is available to purchase at the adidas online shop starting today.
