Third Man Records to Release Recording of Final The Stooges Concert with Their Original Lineup

Third Man Records has announced that it will be releasing a previously unheard soundboard recording of The Stooges final show with its original lineup. It is entitled Live at Goose Lake: August 8th, 1970 and it was recorded just before the release of their iconic 1970 album Fun House.

It will be available on vinyl, CD and digital this coming August 7, 2020, a day shy of the 50th anniversary of that performance.

The audio was restored by Vance Powell and mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering, and with the news we’re getting a taste of the record with the release of a radio edit of “T.V. Eye.” Check it out below.
