Do y’all want a delicious bass groove? You’re in for a treat with “Time (You and I),” the lead single from Khruangbin’s forthcoming new album. The group has announced today their next album will June 26 via Dead Oceans in association with Night Time Stories, and it will be called Mordechai.
The song arrives with Felix Heyes & Josh R.R. King-directed video, which features a dapper gentleman making a new friend as he leaves sand castles around the city.
What may be most surprising about the new track is that it actually includes vocals, a feature which the press release highlights will be the same for most of the songs on Mordechai.
