Check Out Which Tours and Festivals Have Been Cancelled/Postponed Due to the Coronavirus

The Coronavirus continues to take its toll across various industries, especially hurting events. As you would imagine if you’re reading this as you’re on self quarantine/social distancing, then you’re aware that any events that were scheduled to take place around the world in the next couple months have been cancelled.

From tours to music festivals and plenty else in between, way too many events are being affected. Check out the running list of notable events that have been impacted so far that hit close to our hearts:

  • SXSW 2020 – Cancelled – Scheduled for March 13-22, this year was going to be the first since 2013 that I didn’t plan on attending, but now that it’s been cancelled, everyone is missing out
  • Bonnaroo 2020 – Postponed – Originally scheduled for June 11–14, will now take place September 24–27
  • Dreamville Festival – Postponed – The Raleigh fest has been re-scheduled to August 29
  • Coachella 2020 – Postponed – One of biggest music festivals in the world has to scrape its April shows and will be taking place October 9-11 and 16-18
  • The Strokes – Postponed – The band doesn’t have too many dates on their itinerary this year, but they were planning to play in LA in March, which has now been moved to May 29
  • Glastonbury Festival – Cancelled – The UK fest had recently announced it would feature Kendrick Lamar as a headliner, but now this may have to wait for next year
  • Shaky Knees Festival – Postponed – This Atlanta fest is notorious for putting together the best Rock-centric lineups year after year. It was planned to take place May 1-3, but it’s now been moved to October 16-18
  • Peal Jam 2020 Tour – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Rage Against The Machine – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced for the shows originally scheduled for March through May. July and August dates are still planned to take place
  • Billie Eilish – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced. The teen phenom’s world domination is one of the major tours produced by Live Nation that had to be pushed back
  • Action Bronson – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Wilco – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Blood Orange – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced. We were planning on attending, but we’ll have to wait for when the make-up shows get rescheduled
  • Best Coast – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Bob Dylan – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • TOOL – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Thom Yorke – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced. The Radiohead frontman’s solo run will be making up his Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes tour later in the year
  • Foo Fighters – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced. The 25th anniversary tour was one of the most exciting tours slated for this year, so hopefully the celebration gets started soon
  • Elton John – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Soccer Mommy – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Brittany Howard – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • The Rolling Stones – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Angel Olsen – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced
  • Kaytranada – Postponed – New dates are yet to be announced.
