One of the biggest revelations of last year’s Pitchfork Music Festival was the delightful Japanese quartet, CHAI. Today, the group is releasing a single called “NO MORE CAKE,” along with its music video.
Speaking in the press release, singer MANA said about the track:
(It is) a sarcastic poke about wearing make-up… We feel like that you should wear make-up that you feel suits you. Wearing make-up shouldn’t be based on the orders of someone else.
