POD Photos: Matoma Brings Along Two Friends for ‘Camp Superdope!’ (2/14)

Norweigan-born DJ Matoma came through to the Aragon Ballroom alongside LA-based duo Two Friends to present fans with “Camp Superdope!”, a EDM-based night full of energy and fun.

Two Friends came out first and the crowd responded well to the duo’s high-energy set that was equipped with awesome visuals and Super Soakers. Although they haven’t released an EP since 2017, Two Friends has been constantly dropping loosie singles to stay active. The duo constantly puts lighthearted, fun remixes on tracks but they’re unique in that their remixes come from a wide range of genres. You’ll find them flipping rock, pop, hip-hop, and everything in between. Check these guys out if you haven’t yet!

Matoma came out after a few hours of openers to a nearly sold-out crowd in the massive, 5000 capacity ballroom. Matoma, born Tom Lagergren, has been a DJ and record producer since 2014. He began to pop off when he dropped a remix to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Old Thing Back” and he hasn’t stopped since. One in a Million was his latest album and he was sure to play some tracks off of his latest effort for this crowd. His set was full of amazing visuals and unrelenting energy from both Matoma and his fans.

Be sure to check out “Camp Superdope!” before they close the tour out on the 7th of March in Vancouver, BC.
