Hinds Return with “Riding Solo”

While many on our end of the industry is focusing on year-end lists, Madrid’s own, and one of my personal favorite bands, Hinds have dropped their first new song of 2019. The track, arriving via Mom + Pop, is called “Riding Solo” and it definitely shows the Spanish quartet take a step in a new direction in their growth and evolution as a band.

Their ability to write catchy melodies remains intact on “Riding Solo,” but now instead of their signature jangly guitars, las Hinds’ production here focuses more on creating an airy space that makes you feel like you’re floating along in their new track tackling feelings of loneliness. It’s safe to say I’m eager to hear more of what they’ve been cooking up lately.

The band is also sharing the track’s music video, which was directed by Keane Pearce Shaw.
