Dua Lipa has shared her new song “Future Nostalgia,” which we’re learning that this is the title track for her forthcoming album.
The song was produced by Jeff Bhasker and its got New Jack Swing and Electro flavors that pair well with the UK Pop star’s haughty vocals about the impact she’s bringing to the game. Some of the lyrics that stick out the most include the opening “You want a timeless song, I wanna change the game” and the chorus, “I know you’re dying trying to figure me out / My name’s on the tip of your tongue, keep running your mouth / You want the recipe, but can’t handle my sound.”
The song’s title is also sung throughout the track which brings to mind another 80s style, which was the way Pop and Hair Metal acts created anthemic tunes with the title being the spotlight.
