Chicago artist Kembe X has released his latest effort I Was Depressed When I Made This. Kembe’s been making waves on the underground scene for a few years now, collaborating with some of the best in Chicago throughout his upbringing.
Kembe tweeted a day after this album’s release, saying
The album is touching who it’s supposed to touch. That’s all that matters to me. ?

Filled with high-intensity rapping and dope production, this album is sure to be a positive mark on Kembe’s discography. He introduced the album, tweeting that this effort is “Not an album about depression. (It’s) the sounds of someone overcoming it.”
