JPEGMAFIA was one of the best artists we got to see live this summer thanks to his passionate set at Pitchfork Music Fest, and now we’re getting a new chance to to appreciate his craft with the first solo single since his acclaimed breakthrough albumĀ Veteran titled “Jesus Forgive Me, I Am A Thot.”
Out now via EQT Recordings, the song’s release also brought its accompanying music video, directed by Andrew Mcglennon. Not only that, but JPEGMAFIA is also sharing the news that he will be hitting the road later this year as part of his own headline tour.
Check it all out below.
Peggy said in the press release about the new material:
“It’s nice to have something out that’s more me. I hiked five fucking hours for this fucking shoot. Five. fucking hours. If anybody doesn’t like it then fuck you. I hiked five hours. I don’t care. It’s beautiful, it’s elegant, and it doesn’t have to force you into keeping your attention. I just wanted something that was able to be suspenseful without forcing it. This video is just me existing. I wanted you to be moved by what’s going on. And if not, then fuck you. I hiked five hours.“
