The National Share Video for “Hairpin Turns”

The National have a new song and it’s coming to you along with its music video. The track, which will appear on the band’s recently announced eighth studio album I Am Easy To Find set to drop on May 17th via 4AD, was given a black-and-white treatment by Oscar-nominated director Mike Mills and features Gail Ann Dorsey and Lisa Hannigan, Mina Tindle, & Kate Stables.

Watch it out above.

Earlier this year the band announced this forthcoming album along with revealing an accompanying short film inspired by and featuring music from the new record directed by Mills and starring Oscar winner Alicia Vikander. Now the National have unveiled a number of worldwide screening and listening events in the week commencing May 6th to give fans a chance to check out the album ahead of its official release.

The poster below includes details of the cities in which you’ll be able to catch a screening (including Copenhagen, Brooklyn, Chicago, LA, Oslo, Mexico City, Tokyo, Liverpool, and London) and you can find more details at americanmary.com
