Right off the bat, when you learn there’s a new Rich Jones track coming out you’re expecting something good… But then you add The O’My’s and now you’ve got something that sounds as good as chocolate cereal milk tastes.

The parties’ new collaboration is entitled “Overcoats,” which is a Rich Jones stand-alone track featuring production (Maceo Haymes on guitar and Nick Hennessey on organ) from all-time POD faves The O’My’s.

According to the press release, this one was “inspired by the cold shoreline of Lake Michigan” and I can totally feel it. That soothing guitar and Jones’ vocal delivery are the kind of thing you want playing in your headphones if you ever find yourself staring at the waters from a park bench along the shore.
