Beck Shares “Tarantula,” His Contribution to ‘Music Inspired By The Film ROMA’

Check out “Tarantula,” Beck’s cover of the 1982 B-Side by 4AD artists Colourbox. The song will feature on the album Music Inspired by the Film ROMA, which is out February 8 via Sony Music Masterworks. It’s worth mentioning that this dizzying rendition’s string arrangement comes courtesy of Beck in collaboration with his pops, David Campbell.

The paisano Alfonso Cuarón’s film Roma was recently announced to be nominated for multiple Oscar including the big one, Best Picture.

Not to be confused with the movie’s soundtrack, this project also features contributions from Billie Eilish, El-P, Jessie Rye, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, UNKLE and more. Check out Beck’s song below.
